Detailed Itinerary : -
Starting Point: Delhi / Dehradun
Duration: 9 Nights / 10 Days
Route: Yamunotri – Gangotri – Kedarnath – Badrinath
Day 1: Delhi / Dehradun to Barkot
Morning pickup from Delhi or Dehradun railway station / airport. Drive to Barkot via Mussoorie (optional visit to Kempty Falls). Enjoy scenic Himalayan views during the journey. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Barkot.
Day 2: Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot
Early morning drive to Janki Chatti / Phool Chatti. Start 6 km trek to Yamunotri Temple (pony or palki available at own cost). Take holy dip at Surya Kund and perform Yamunotri darshan. Trek back and return to Barkot. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi
After breakfast, drive to Uttarkashi along the Bhagirathi River. On arrival, check-in at hotel. Visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple if time permits. Dinner and overnight stay at Uttarkashi.
Day 4: Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi
Early morning drive to Gangotri Dham. Take holy dip in River Ganga and perform darshan at Gangotri Temple. Enjoy the serene Himalayan surroundings. Drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi / Sonprayag
After breakfast, proceed towards Guptkashi or Sonprayag. En route enjoy beautiful river and mountain views. Visit Ardhnarishwar Temple at Guptkashi if time allows. Check-in at hotel. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 6: Guptkashi / Sonprayag – Kedarnath
Early morning drive to Gaurikund. Begin 18 km trek to Kedarnath Temple or take helicopter (at own cost). On arrival, check-in at guest house or camp. Attend evening aarti at Kedarnath Temple. Overnight stay near Kedarnath.
Day 7: Kedarnath – Guptkashi – Joshimath
Early morning darshan at Kedarnath Temple. After darshan, trek back to Gaurikund and continue drive to Joshimath. Check-in at hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at Joshimath.
Day 8: Joshimath – Badrinath – Joshimath
Early morning drive to Badrinath Dham. Take holy dip in Tapt Kund and perform darshan at Badrinath Temple. Visit Mana Village, Bhim Pul, Vyas Gufa and Mata Murti Temple. Return to Joshimath. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9: Joshimath – Rishikesh – Dehradun
After breakfast, drive towards Dehradun. En route visit Devprayag, the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers. Continue to Rishikesh and then Dehradun. Check-in at hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 10: Dehradun – Delhi Departure
After breakfast, drop at Dehradun airport / railway station or drive back to Delhi. Tour concludes with sacred memories of Char Dham Yatra.
